A FINE PAIR OF FOOTJOY WINS FOR KARLSSON AND CRANE
FootJoy, the #1 Shoe and Glove in Golf, is once again celebrating victories for FootJoy ambassadors on both the European Tour and PGA Tour. Robert Karlsson won the Commercialbank Qatar Masters wearing the all new FJ ICON shoes while Ben Crane won the Farmers Insurance Open wearing the FootJoy DryJoys®.
The win is Karlsson’s first in 16 months after he was sidelined for four months last year suffering from blurred vision caused by fluid behind the retina in his left eye. The win elevates Karlsson from 137th to just outside the top 20 on the Ryder Cup points table and puts the former European number one in line for the 2010 Ryder Cup team. Karlsson topped a leaderboard dominated by FootJoy as he narrowly beat FootJoy loyalists Brett Rumford, Lee Westwood to take the title. In fact seven of the top 10 and ties and 57% of the entire field trusted the superior performance of FootJoy at the Qatar Masters.
