Extremely well-represented in Snowboard Cross for several years thanks to its significant involvement in this sport, and after several Wescott/De Le Rue doubles, Bollé has won a new double, this time from Wescott/Ramoin, in the final of the Snowboard Cross at the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
Proud of equipping two of the biggest champions in Snowboard, Bollé thanks Seth Wescott and Tony Ramoin for the exceptional display they put on.
Previously consigned to alternative competitions such as the X-Games or special championships, Snowboard Cross made its first appearance four years ago at the Turin Games to the delight of winter sports fans. Snowboard Cross is spectacular, aerial and technical, and has quickly become a leading event at the Winter Olympics.
Seth Wescott, already Olympic champion four years ago, World Champion in 2005, Vice-World Champion in 2003 and 2007, 7 times X-Games medallist and one of the sport’s fathers put together perfect runs throughout the competition and of course, came first in the final.
Tony Ramoin, a rider from Isola 2000, displayed the extent of his talent, run after run, despite being only 21 years old and it being his first Winter Olympics. The third place that he won with audacity and panache bears witness to his talent.
Seth Wescott and Tony Ramoin were both wearing Bollé helmets and goggles.
